Millersneuk Crusaders What's it all about? A typical evening at Millersneuk Crusaders will consist of various games, many of which are “team” based. The games are usually “run-about” games such as the always-favourite Dodgy ball, Helicopter/Rope Game, Bottle game and the Cups game. We have found that the teams, which have a good age range, work well and we are flexible to allow friends to be together. However, we sometime have quiz and observational games as well. We also have a Bible Time, which is usually a talk or a video, led by a Group leader, Scottish Crusader leader or people from our church. At the end of the evening we have a “best team member” and “best team” prize. Children are asked to register each evening and we ask for 50p per night to cover various expenses (the largest of which is insurance). As well as meeting on Monday evenings, there are three other events to which the children will be invited: For our Christmas party night we go to the ProBowl in Kirkintilloch usually on the last Monday we meet in December. All the children are invited to KNX, which occurs twice in the year, usually in November and March. KNX is a club that meets on a Saturday evening and is designed to bring together our church’s Sunday School and the other five children’s clubs that are run by the church. In May the children will be invited to the Moffat Weekend. This is a weekend away (Friday night to Sunday night) in Moffat with the children who go to the various church-run clubs. Scottish Crusaders is a dynamic interdenominational Christian Youth organisation for young people. The Millersneuk Crusaders group is linked to, and supported by, Woodhill Evangelical Church.
